M.S. Marshall

is a writer, editor, and book designer. He has edited prize winning and long listed memoir and creative nonfiction1; written copy and designed for literary magazines and award winning legacy titles2; and published short fiction and poetry in both English and Scots.

He was also a finalist in NYC Midnight’s 2018 Short Story Competition and shortlisted for Dark Poets Club’s 2025 Small Space, Deep Impact Prize. He holds an MSc in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh and a GradCert in Publishing from Centennial College.

Originally from the UK, he now lives in Canada where, along with designing and making music, he hosts workshops, moderates author events, and learns as much as he teaches.
